Ask Joel Mark Chaney what he was doing, and nine times out of ten, his answer was “Worky Worky.” It was just Joel being Joel — a Southern original with a rebellious streak and a heart bigger than his britches.
Those two little words became a brand built by his family to honor the man behind them. Every T-shirt slogan is one of Joel’s crazy, deep, meaningful, or irreverent sayings. Every T-shirt is Joel entirely…to a “T”.
A husband, daddy, Pappy and Pagi. A roofer, builder, coach, and problem-solver who helped bring new life to downtown Hazlehurst. Above all, a man who showed up for his people.

His beloved Punk wasn’t your average dog. He was a road warrior, a roofing companion, a constant sidekick, and Joe’s four-legged best friend.
From highways across America to rooftops high above the ground, wherever Joe was working, Punk was usually right there with him.

Joe believed that if you have the ability to help somebody, you ought to do it. Through the foundation, our family intends to turn his lifelong generosity into lasting opportunities for others.
Created by Rory and their children, the foundation’s vision includes scholarships for trade schools, technical programs, colleges, and universities; hardship assistance; chemical dependency, mental health, PTSD, and grief support; and resources for emergency and heart care.
The foundation also seeks to create employment opportunities and, as it grows, future programs connecting combat veterans and others in need with service dogs and emotional support animals.
As the foundation grows, so will the opportunities to make a difference.
